The Our Fight trip was amazing. What a lovely bunch of people. We laughed, we cried, we sang, we danced, we ate, we drank.

It started in Jerusalem on Yom HaShoah at the ceremony at Yad Vashem. A very moving experience, with testimonies from survivors of the Holocaust. I feel honoured to have been there.

We had a wonderful tour of Yad Vashem and Jerusalem. The Jewish News Syndicate Conference was incredible, with the most amazing speakers from all over the world, including a 50 minute speech by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

The trip down South to Kibbutz Nirim, the Nova music festival memorial site, and the Car Graveyard was very emotional.

We met many different people who were all directly affected by October 7th, and we heard their stories. I don't think you really understand the terrible devastation until you are actually there.
Being in Israel for Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut was also amazing, but the fires in Jerusalem which disrupted the commemorations were very upsetting.

The Israelis were so grateful that we were there supporting them, and I am so grateful to the whole group, especially the non-Jews, who stand by us, during these very difficult, stressful times.
Thank you Mark and all the Our Fight crew who organised the trip. It really was wonderful.
Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱 💙🇮🇱
